Summer updates
As many of us are enjoying the relative calm of summer, we are also reflecting on a very successful 2018-2019 school year. This past school year marked the final stage of our independent third-party program evaluation. This study is the first of its kind, and we are excited to demonstrate the impact of our program on a broader scale. The results are being compiled now, and we look forward to sharing more detail with you in the fall upon completion of the project.
We would not be able to do our work without the commitment of our dedicated volunteers, supporters and partners. Thanks to the financial investment of individuals, corporate and foundation partners, and program partners, we were able to exceed 2019 revenue goals in order to provide literacy tutoring to thousands of children across Greater Boston. Your investment allows us to provide high-quality services to our program sites and ensure continued training and professional growth for our literacy coaches.
As we look ahead to 2020, we are excited to share the launch of a multi-year strategic plan to build organizational capacity for sustained program growth and pilot needed operational and programmatic improvements. We will share more detail in the fall regarding this plan and our focus on serving more children who need our services.
