Julieann Tamayo, Literations Board Member

Literations is pleased to announce the appointment of a new board member, Julieann Tamayo, Operations Manager of the Patient Care Services and Nursing Department at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Ms. Tamayo returns to Literations having previously held a senior management position in the organization’s early formative years, providing oversight of the Program, Training, and Business departments. Her leadership helped drive program impact and ensure Literations’ financial health.

With vast experience in project management and operations in the non-profit sector and mission-driven organizations, Ms. Tamayo will bring a unique perspective that will aid us in serving more students and expanding to new communities in Greater Boston.

Generations Incorporated

We envision a day when all children are proficient readers when they enter 4th Grade. Literacy is the key to academic success and can be a path out of poverty.

Generations Incorporated strives to improve the literacy skills of young children through Grade 3. We also provide meaningful opportunities to older adults who serve as literacy volunteers in our partner schools and after school programs in low-income communities.
