Too often, teachers cannot allocate time to helping individual students with their oral reading practicedue to the demands of a classroom setting. Our mission is to assist students in communities where education inequity exists by providing twice weekly, individualized literacy sessions for children who need extra assistance. We want to ensure that all students have the literacy skills they need to succeed. Central to our model are our amazing and dedicated volunteers. All volunteers complete a specialized training program so they have the tools and knowledge to help students and cater to their individual needs.
